A full-time social worker on the clinic staff provides crucial case management and referral services to Ben Massell clients.
Our clinic’s social worker utilizes a holistic approach in ensuring our patients are connected with social services and resources in the community and facilitates mental health screenings, support groups, psycho-educational sessions and provides brief counseling to our patients. Thanks to a collaboration with Mercy Care Services, clients can receive general health screenings for such conditions as heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. And through Georgia Lions Lighthouse, patients have access to eye exams and glasses.
